Roots of Purpose LLC is developing a residential recovery and reentry initiative in DeRidder, Louisiana. Our proposed program brings daily structure, behavioral wellness, faith-based mentorship, workforce preparation, and community reintegration together for adult men.
The goal is practical and deeply human: help people move from instability toward personal growth, meaningful work, and greater independence.

Our vision is rooted in Christian principles and the belief that people can discover purpose through reflection, service, learning, and personal effort. Faith-based mentorship and the Numbers 13 curriculum are part of the proposed program model.
Participants are active partners in their own growth. Through daily effort, brotherhood, leadership development, and service to others, the pathway encourages men to become skilled, accountable contributors to their families and communities.
Adherence to a particular faith is not required to participate. Ask our team about program expectations, spiritual activities, and accommodations.
Our vision for Louisiana
Our proposed facility is at 430 Milton Reid Road, DeRidder, LA 70634. Plans include a 24-bed adult male residential substance-use treatment program, connected with a broader reentry and workforce-development pathway.
Roots of Purpose is preparing to open. Licensure, staffing, service availability, and admissions must be confirmed before participation. The proposed bed count describes our plan, not approved operating capacity.
A vision beyond graduation
Recovery and reentry involve more than completing a program. Our longer-term vision includes vocational pathways, financial literacy, housing planning, ongoing peer accountability, and supported independent living through the Wee Build tiny-home pathway.
Employment, credentials, housing, and homeownership depend on individual circumstances and available opportunities. They are goals of the pathway, not guaranteed placements.
