Who the program is designed for
The proposed Louisiana residential program is for adult men who need substance-use recovery support, with a broader model addressing reentry, personal responsibility, workforce preparation, and community reintegration.
Individual assessment, program fit, approved services, and available capacity will guide admission. A general inquiry or referral does not guarantee acceptance or placement.
A thoughtful beginning
- Start with a general conversation. Ask about opening status, the program model, and future admissions.
- Understand the expectations. Discuss participation, daily routines, faith activities, costs or coverage, and accommodations.
- Use the approved review process. Our team will explain what information is needed and how it should be shared when intake is ready.
- Wait for confirmation. Admission and arrival arrangements require individual review and a direct confirmation from the team.
The invitation: bring your commitment
The broader reentry model asks for nine months of active participation, consistent effort, and personal responsibility. It combines structure, learning, behavioral skill-building, and preparation for a more independent future.
Participants are expected to want meaningful change, follow house and program rules, and respect others. The admissions conversation is the time to discuss individual needs and accommodations. Clinical treatment length is based on individual assessment and approved services.
The program is rooted in Christian principles. You do not have to follow a particular faith to participate.

Families, courts, correctional staff, case managers, and community organizations may contact Roots of Purpose for general program information and future referral instructions.
Please do not email another person’s health history, legal documents, or other sensitive records. Ask the team about the approved process and any required permission before sharing information.
